Dear Parents/Carers,
I have booked a lovely lady from Kent Adult Education to come and deliver the following course:
'Building Family Resilience'.
This is a 4 week course beginning on 11th January, which is for 2 hours, from 9.15am - 11.15am and will be in the school hall.
During the sessions we will learn what resilience is and how it can help our wellbeing, find out how resilience strategies can help us deal with difficult times and give us the tools to help our children learn resilience skills.
Adults only - I am afraid we can't accommodate pre-school children.
To book a place, please contact me, places are limited.
Many thanks, Mrs Darby
We paid up.... but also had lots of fun! We will be on main gate duty at the end of the day!
Good Evening,
We would like to thank everyone who came to Parent Consultations this week. We enjoy working together to support our children to move forward with their learning.
In order to say thank you to staff, children, parents, carers and the PTA. We have chosen tomorrow to pay up..... after all we did lose the bet!!
We hope we put a smile on all your faces. Please do try and come via the main gate tomorrow if you can!
Best Wishes
Miss Rootes and Mr Laker

Dear Parents/Carers,
FINAL WEEK OF USING CLASSDOJO, STUDYBUGS and PARENTMAIL!
This is the last week (WB: 4th September 2023) we will be using ClassDojo, Studybugs and Parentmail to communicate with our families. Therefore, if you which to know what is going on in your child's school, want to make bookings/payments you will need to sign up to Weduc: Reach More Parents... we can not do this for you. As a school we will be using Weduc to send messages home, so please download the app, or sign up via the internet. Please can I also take this opportunity to remind families to book their child's school meal, whether they are packed lunches or having a hot meal at school. Lots of schools already do this, so we are late to the party. By doing this at home, it frees up time for teachers to crack on with lessons (there is so much to fit into a school day) and your child's learning. Today there have been a number of issues with lunches and not all children got their first choice. We can only apologise for the upset this may have caused your child, but we have had more teething issues with Weduc. We will get there with this, we promise... please stick with it. We will look back and laugh, one day! We really appreciate your continued support and patience.
Kind regards Mr Laker
