Attendance of sick children

Attendance of Sick Children

To help prevent the spread of infectious diseases, please do not send your child to Pre-School if they are unwell.

In accordance with recommended guidelines, please do not bring your child to the pre-school until 48 hours has lapsed after a bout of sickness and/or diarrhoea or they have been prescribed antibiotics.

There is no routine exclusion of contacts of the common infectious diseases.  You can find more information here.

Please let us know if your child has Rubella (German Measles), Chicken Pox or Slap Cheek so that we can notify parents as they can be dangerous during pregnancy.

It would be appreciated if you could let us know if your child will be absent from Pre-School with one of the common infectious diseases. Appropriate information can then be displayed for all parents.

For any illness please either ring the main office or ClassDojo :-)

If a child becomes unwell whilst at Pre-School we will, of course, contact the parent/carer.
