A Message from the Headteacher
Barming Primary School has so much to offer. Everyone is welcome and children are encouraged to flourish and achieve their goals. Come and find out what we are all about!
Orchard Academy Trust
Barming Primary School is an Academy and is part of the Orchard Trust family of schools. The Trust currently consists of Allington Primary School and Barming Primary School.
By attending Barming Pre-School and Primary School I agree to abide by the following:
As a Parent/Guardian I will ensure the following:
I need to support all staff in their efforts to educate my child(ren) and help provide a positive environment.
My child will attend school wearing the designated school uniform, appropriate hair accessories and will have access to a P.E kit in school.
All items of clothing and possessions are clearly named.
My child will attend school regularly and will work towards an attendance figure of at least 95% over the year.
My child does not wear jewellery unless for religious purposes.
During term time my child will not wear nail varnish or waterslide tattoos.
My child is provided with a coat, if and when required.
I will inform the school of any changes to emergency contact details as soon as possible.
My child is respectful of other people's property, including our surrounding neighbours.
I will speak to all members of staff and other parents politely. If I am upset by something I will use appropriate channels to deal with the situation or take time to reflect before responding to a situation.
I will not park on the school site, unless I have been permitted to by the Headteacher.
I will park safely and considerately in local roads in order to keep everyone safe and to ensure the flow of traffic. I will not park inconsiderately by blocking resident's driveways, parking on the yellow zigzag lines or parking on the pavement.
I will actively support the school by modelling appropriate behaviour e.g. respect towards staff and by reminding my child of the school rules.
