Welcome to Barming Pre-School and Primary School
We are a 2 form entry primary school on the outskirts of Maidstone. It is a co-educational school for children aged 2 to 11 years old. There are currently 416 children on roll.
A Message from the Headteacher
Barming Primary School has so much to offer. Everyone is welcome and children are encouraged to flourish and achieve their goals. Come and find out what we are all about!
Orchard Academy Trust
Barming Primary School is an Academy and is part of the Orchard Trust family of schools. The Trust currently consists of Allington Primary School and Barming Primary School.

Year R Staffing

Dear Parents/Carers,

 

Some of you may be aware of the recent baby boom we have had at Barming Primary School resulting in some members of staff going on maternity leave.  In Reception, we have been fortunate enough to have Miss Smith and Mrs Hart covering Miss Locke’s maternity leave. Next term, Miss Locke will be returning for 3 days a week, Wednesday to Friday, to job share in Pippin Class with Mrs Ingram.  Prior to this, Miss Locke will be in school for a couple of days to get to know the children and introduce herself to you on Wednesday 5th and 12th February.

 
In addition to Miss Locke coming back, we will also be welcoming Mrs Mayer (formerly Miss Reed) back from maternity leave. She will be working in Bramley Class on a Monday and Tuesday, starting Monday 10th February. Mrs Mayer will also be in school prior to this to meet the children, on Thursday 6th and Friday 7th February.
 
I’m sure you will join with us in thanking Miss Smith and Mrs Hart for their support.
