We're a friendly group of parents and teachers who organise fundraising events throughout the school year, to provide the children with the extra things a school budget doesn't cover. We meet on a regular basis to plan, critique and discuss new ideas. If you'd like to help with any aspect of this you can contact us on the details below.
Our bigger events raise a substantial amount of money and on average we generate roughly £10,000 in a school year. We think that's pretty good going and realise that without the continued support of the parents/carers and the wider community this would not be possible.
We have used funds recently to buy a suite of Google Chrome books (tablets) for Years 3-4; a valuable resource already being used effectively by Years 5-6. Following the recent Ofsted report, we have agreed to replenish the reading book stock in school, as this was identified as being 'a little bit tatty.'
Barming School PTA have lots of exciting events coming up this school year:

Best way to find out about events?
One of the easiest ways to keep up to date with us is on our Facebook page - Barming Primary School PTA - where we post regular updates of the events we have coming up.
Many more companies are joining 'Fund Matching Schemes'; and this is a simple and easy way for us to increase our fund raising, which in turn will help support your children. So if you come along and help at one of our events, and your stall for example raised £100, your employer would donate £100 and double your profit. Some companies will donate up to £500, so as you can imagine, if we had even a few people helping by doing this our fundraising could be increased by £1000's of pounds. And that has to be a good thing!
Contact us either via school, or using the form below and we can chat about what you can do at an event to maximise funds and then we will help you through the process of registering for Fund Matching. Below is a list of companies that offer Fund Matching:
