Welcome to Year 6!

In Year 6 we have two classes - Elephant and Giraffe Class:

Class Teacher: Mrs B Deysel (KS2 Lead and Assessment Lead)

Additional Learning Support: Mrs Y Sarwar (a.m.)

P.E

P.E for both classes will be on Mondays. Please ensure children come into school wearing their P.E. kit.

Homework

To support your child’s progress and ensure they reach their full potential, it is important that the following homework tasks are completed regularly:

• Weekly Homework: Complete the work sent out weekly on a Friday. This will build on class learning. 
• Spelling: Learn the weekly spelling words in preparation for the spelling test every Friday.
• Reading: Read for at least 20 minutes, three times a week. Don’t forget to record this in the reading log.
• Times Tables Practice: Practise times tables as often as possible using Timetable Rockstars. Strong times tables knowledge is a key foundation for success in Maths.
