About Us

The PTA is a Parent Teacher Association; we are a registered charity which organises events throughout the year to raise money for the school. 

Money is spent in a wide variety of ways to improve and enhance the education of our children at Barming Pre-School and Primary School. The PTA is not just a fundraising body, it also brings parents, teachers and pupils together in social events, building a stronger community.

If you’d like to be part of our team and help us organise and/or run events, please drop us a message via email or our Facebook group with your name, child’s year group and contact number and we will be in touch.

There are many ways you can help - some jobs are big, some tasks are small so there really is something for everyone. 

If all you can help with is making a few phone calls – that’s brilliant. This will free up someone else’s time. 

If you love organising and want to be more involved – absolutely come and join us. 

If all you can do is help set up before an event – wonderful! The more people we have around to help, the less each of us has to do.

After all – it is all for the benefit of our children and the school!

Does you employer offer to match fund any charity work you are involved with? Please get in touch! This will cost you nothing but can make a huge difference to our school.
