We used this clip to think about how Morse code can be used as a rhythm base.

They then explored how they could use Morse code to write their name or a message. Through body percussion they considered how they could pass their message in a musical way.

What words can you make using the Morse code?

Term 2 - 2020 to 2021

We listened to a wide range of Music from World War 2. We thought of the lyrics and what their meanings might have been. We also discussed which were our favourite ones.

Run, Rabbit, Run

Boogie, Woogie Bugle Boy

Wish Me Luck

We're Hanging Out The Washing On The Sieqfried Line

Don't Sit Under The Apple Tree

White Cliffs Of Dover

Sing As We Go

Term 3 - 2020 to 2021

We looked at how film music adds to the action in different films.

The key part was thinking about Coraline and how without the music the scene did not seem as frightening. However, by adding in the music it added to the atmosphere.
