Barming Primary School is a 2 form entry primary school on the outskirts of Maidstone. It is a co-educational school for children aged 2 to 11 years old. There are currently 416 children on roll.

Orchard Academy Trust
Barming Primary School is an Academy and is part of the Orchard Trust family of schools. The Trust currently consists of Allington Primary School and Barming Primary School.

Taking the learning OUTSIDE!
Outdoor learning is an important aspect of our work at Barming. We believe that children learn a great deal from being outdoors and engaging in 'hands on' activities. Children need to spend more time outdoors!
Our outdoor learning takes place in the following ways:
- Regular opportunities for the children to use the school grounds and the wider environment as part of their curriculum learning;
- Forest School activities for all children;
- Growing areas;
- Promoting and signposting outdoor activities to parents.
