Welcome to Barming Pre-School and Primary School
We are a 2 form entry primary school on the outskirts of Maidstone. It is a co-educational school for children aged 2 to 11 years old. There are currently 416 children on roll.

Orchard Academy Trust
Barming Primary School is an Academy and is part of the Orchard Trust family of schools. The Trust currently consists of Allington Primary School and Barming Primary School.

  • Tuesday 17th June: Parent Consultations 3.30pm to 7.30pm (Including half hour teacher break- Late)
  • Thursday 19th June: Parent Consultations 3.30pm to 5.30pm (Early)
  • Year 1 Year Group Assembly Thursday 26th June 9am
  • Thursday 3rd July: Transition Day for all – This will be all day for the children.
  • Friday 11th July: Sports Day: Morning (9.30am to 11.30am) Potted Sports R, 1, 2 and Afternoon Potted Sports 3,4,5 and 6 (1pm to 3pm)
  • Reserve Day for Friday 11th July events will be Tuesday 15th July.
  • Monday 14th July: Sports Day: Pre-School Only (9.30am to 10.30am)
  • Thursday 17th July: Year 6 Parent Picnic followed by Year 6 Class Leavers Service/Production (all in one combo) 1.30pm

DROP OFF AND PICK UP:

 

 

Dropping off.

Drop off points:

 

Reception children:   Via the side entrance up by Reception.

Years 1 and 2:   via the Breakfast and After School Club Door.

Years 3 and 4:   via the door to the right of the main school office entrance.

Year 5:   via Hippopotamus Fire Door and the Year5/6 Door for Panda Class.

Year 6:   via Giraffe Fire Door and Elephant Fire Door.

 

Years R, 1 and 2 via the left hand side pedestrian gate and Years 3 to 6 via the right hand side pedestrian gate.   

 

North Street gate can be used by anyone who lives nearer to the North Street Entrance. 

 

Drop off times will remain 8:35am to 8:50am.

 

Parents to drop and go in order to continue supporting the alleviation of parking issues around the school and will continue to leave through the vehicular access. Thank you 

 

SLT will welcome parents via the Main Entrance, so please feel free to find one of us if you have a query or a concern.

Years 1 and 2:   Top playground (the one with the wooden boat).

Years 3 and 4:   Top playground (the one with the wooden boat).

Years 5 and 6:   Lower playground with basketball posts.
