Welcome to BarmingPrimary School
Barming Primary School is a 2 form entry primary school on the outskirts of Maidstone. It is a co-educational school for children aged 4 to 11 years old. There are currently 403 children on role.

Orchard Academy Trust
Barming Primary School is an Academy and is part of the Orchard Trust family of schools. The Trust currently consists of Allington Primary School and Barming Primary School.

Family Liaison Officer

Family Liaison Officer (FLO)

 

Our Family Liaison Officer here at Barming Primary School is called Mrs Darby.

 

Mrs Darby's role is to provide pastoral support to parents/carers and help with any issues that you may have in relation to supporting your children, both at home and in school. Mrs Darby works to encourage parental involvement within school, signpost to agencies (where appropriate) and support children in school. Should you have a personal concern or school related issue, then she is here as a listening ear. Mrs Darby has access to a number of agencies who may be able to provide support to you and your family. Any query, large or small that you may require assistance with, Mrs Darby is here to help.

 

Mrs Darby liaises with all school staff, always in the best interests of the children and their families. She works impartially and confidentially and can provide a ‘listening ear’ if you ever need advice or support.

 

Mrs Darby - Hours of work are:

Monday – 08:30 – 2.30pm

Tuesday – 08:30 – 2.30pm

Thursday – 08:30 – 2.30pm

 

Mrs Darby aims to be outside on the playground in the morning on these days.
